Hit by a car and blind in one eye, poor Albertine is severely handicapped!

1. She's been injured!

Albertine is a 10 year old cat. She used to live outside and one day she appeared with her pelvis fractured in multiple places. The vet believes she was hit by a car.

After a month-long period of recovery, she can walk again, but jumping poses a challenge. Therefore, we've placed her in a safe place at the cattery.

2. She's blind...

As if her daily struggles weren't already enough, Albertine is also blind in one eye (likely a consequence of cat flu). Her field of vision is thus halved, presenting her with another daily hindrance.

3. Tailor-made canned food would help her regain strength

A wet food specifically designed for older cats could help Albertine regain her strength in a healthy manner. Rich in good nutrients, this type of food would help her efficiently recharge her energy, all the while keeping her well-hydrated.

4. Hundreds of purring friends need our help!

Our association has been around since 2011, mainly caring for stray cats. We provide them with sterilisation, identification, and tests for various diseases. Those in poor health are placed in the cattery.

Between the ones we feed outside and the ones we've taken in, we're caring for over 500 cats... the costs are colossal for our small budget!
